JOYCE TENNESON IN DENTON!
This is an amazing opportunity. If you don't know who she is, she is an internationally renowned photographer with books including Transformations, Wise Women, Illuminations and Light Warriors. Her work has appeared in countless publications including Time, Premiere, and Fortune. Catch her tomorrow night at Texas woman's University.

One can only hope those from UNT's Art Department heard the prophetic words of Tenneson when she commented on students coming to her seeking internships "Students come to me with one semester to go and I ask them what they want to do. They say "after I graduate I want to be a fine artist". I tell them they better get a job ... if you don't know digital I can't use you - you are of no use to me." Folks in both UNT and TWU Art Department's Photo programs may place zero value on what the dentonista, and other local professionals have been trying to tell them these past few years, but perhaps they will listen to a heavyweight like Joyce Tenneson. Students, if you don't know digital, you are of no use to ANYONE.
