How to Find Actuations on Nikon D200

There is a simple way to find the number of actuations on a Nikon D200, and I presume any other camera that shoots raw images.
1) shoot an image on a newly formated card
2) plug image into card reader already connected to computer
3) Drag image file to photoshop to open the image in the raw opener
4) open the image and adjust if you like
5) close the image file
6) Look back where the original raw was located and there will now be an XMP file'
7) OPEN THE XMP file using a simple text editor / reader and read the metadata there
8) Look under ######<
That number is the total actuation number.
